Students observed the intricate detail and artistic beauty of Chinese Shadow puppets for inspiration. They then used pattern, texture, and contrast to create their own individual shadow puppet using metallic etching board.

Imaginary Metamorphosis!
7th & 8th Grade, 1st Semester

Students created an imaginary metamorphosis with six equal and gradual changes from beginning to end, including the background.
1-Point Perspective Cityscapes
6th Grade, 2nd Quarter
Completed Dec. 10th, 2015
Students learned shading techniques and 1-point linear as well as atmospheric perspective to draw their own invented cityscape.
