1-Point Perspective Cityscapes

Students created a nature inspired design on a metallic etching board, similar to the Art Nouveau style.

Gothic Rose Windows

Students used a transfer method and glue/pastel resist to create a kaleidoscope style design similar to a Gothic period rose window.

Impressionist Memory Paintings

6th Grade, 4th Quarter
Completed Apr. 15th, 2015

Students chose a memory to illustrate while using perspective techniques (overlapping, size, and placement) to create a sense of depth and space. Students added texture and color with a unique watercolor marker and wax resist technique in order to make it look more impressionist than realistic.
