Crystal Bridges Field Trip!

Yesterday, our 8th grade art students took a tour of the "Van Gogh to Rothko" special exhibit where we had an amazing time and learned so much!

Heritage Self-Portrait Silhouettes

Students used symbols of their family heritage and culture in order to create a self-portrait silhouette.

8 Human Commonalities

7th & 8th Grade, 2nd Semester

Students learned about Dr. Ernest Boyer's 8 Human Commonalities which are 8 experiences all humans have no matter where or when they lived. Creating art inspired by one of them helped students make connections to others that surpassed time and place.
